CIBC Run for the Cure 2006

TEAM aWEBthatWORKS.com RUNS FOR THE CURE

(DURHAM REGION, ON) October, 2006 – Bright and early Sunday, October 1st, TEAM AWEBthatWORKS.com lined up at the Lakeview Park starting line for Oshawa’s Run for the Cure.

TEAM AWEBthatWORKS.com, first-time participants in the event, entered five team members who raised a total of $747. Sue Sutcliffe, president of AWEBthatWORKS.com, spearheaded the drive for participants and donations from her employees and network of friends and colleagues. She personally raised $255.

Sporting pink balloons and Run for the Cure t-shirts, the team joined 170,000 breast cancer survivors, friends and supporters running across Canada to find a cure for this devastating illness. The event raised $23.4 million nationally.
